Henry was born the youngest of his siblings in Havana, Cuba, in 1959. His father, mother, brother, sister, and he immigrated to the United States in 1960. With no possessions allowed out of the country except for the $20 his father had in his pocket along with a small suitcase with some of the family's clothes, Henry experienced firsthand what was meant by survival. This experience has continued to play a major theme in shaping Henry’s approach to life as well as real estate. Henry and his wife of 32 years, Linda, who’s also in the real estate profession, personally own and manage over $3 million in real estate assets. They have raised three boys into adulthood during their 28 plus years here in Gainesville and continue to consider this their home.
Henry Rabell has been a licensed Real Estate Agent since March 23, 1982. Henry joined Bosshardt Realty in October of 2002. He immediately became a standout and qualified for the prestigious Multi-Million Dollar Producer award his first year with the company. Henry continues to enjoy a successful career in Real Estate and has played major sales roles with prominent developments such as University Corners (a proposed $200 million dollar luxury condo development), Lofts Oasis condos, Nantucket Walk condos, Weschester subdivision, Fletcher Park, an upscale luxury housing development and Savannah Station homes. Henry also works general real estate as both a buyer's and seller's agent and has been a consistent top producer.
Prior to working as a full time Real Estate agent, Henry was both founder and president of Eagle distributing, an energy efficient national lighting distributor, and Chem Light Plus, Inc., an energy efficient lighting management company whose purpose was to design and implement the latest in efficient lighting technologies. Up until 2006, both Chem Light Plus and Eagle Distributing employed over 75 full time employees locally and throughout the United States.
Henry has successfully completed and received certifications as a Certified Residential Specialist (CRS), new homes sales professional (CSP), Graduate of the Real Estate Institute (GRI) designation, and Broker Associate designation.
