Bringing Award-winning Expertise and Energy & Environmental Solutions for Typical Real Estate Challenges
Bosshardt Realty Services recently announced Pattie Glenn's return after 18 years. During her prior tenure as Senior Vice President of the BRS New Homes & Development Division, she founded a market research division, industry training, developed paralegal services for contracts administration, CDRs, sales and marketing training, and helped introduce new policy with sustainable incentives, integrating a value-oriented approach to innovative new construction and developments.
Motivated by the hope of a healthier home for her family, Pattie Glenn spearheaded an innovative Florida Team of REALTORS® in 1996, to pioneer the start-up of award-winning, market-driven, high performance ENERGY STAR® Communities in Alachua County that earned regional and national recognition. ENERGY STAR® communities, which included Madison Square at MillPond, Mentone, Brookfield, The Trails, and Union Street Station, initially.
Fate guided Pattie on a ancillary track to support her real estate initiatives as a Speaker/Trainer, reporting market trends with energy data with profound ENERGY STAR(r) home case studies at regional and national industry conferences around the U.S. This led to founding her consulting company, GreenSmart®, Inc. in 1999, which earned a registered Federal Trademark and Service Mark in 2002 for green consulting in lending, marketing and sales, green building certification, and sustainable land development, along with developing environmental educational materials, including creating the Psychographics of the Green Consumer and the GreenSmart® Pro 101 Designation Course.
Pattie was inducted in 1997 as a Member of the NAHB Institute of Residential Marketing. Glenn achieved designations, then served as instructor for many of NAHB’s University of Housing’s courses: IRM I, II, III & IV Courses, Master Certified Green Project Management; Certified Green Professional, Land Development; Acquisition and Financing; Certified New Sales Professional and Effective Marketing on a Shoestring Budget.
REALTOR(r) magazine touted her as the nation's first Green Realtor, Glenn delivered her first GreenSmart® training to educate REALTORS® How To Go Green at NAR's 2003 Conference in Chicago and 2005's Conference in San Francisco. Subsequently, Glenn was hired as spokesperson and trainer for The GBI, in their 2004 national rollout of NAHB's Green Model Guidelines.
Personally, Glenn has secured technical ratings, inspections and exemplary certifications of award-winning FGBC green homes, multi-family buildings, and developments across Florida, and instrumental in the unfolding of quantifiable green building nationally.
Her cumulative journey brought her full circle to Bosshardt Realty, where it all began. Driven by her passion and expertise to rendering healthier homes and communities, she can help you turn typical challenges into opportunities to improve energy efficiency, water conservation, improved Indoor air quality, health and safety. When considering wise choices to reduce waste, use repairs or replacements to choose recyclable or recycled materials, or review for better site and landscape management, not only protects the health of a home, and its occupants, but improves durability while it saves money over the lifetime of ownership. Her systems approach has wide positive impacts on real estate from commercial assets, land development, renovating existing homes, and new construction; with benefits of higher indoor air quality.
Simply said, your next real estate investment saves money, water, health, safety, resources, and Planet Earth. For Pattie, it embodies her mission to empower people in home, work, and community.
